The Virtual Worlds Research Consortium is non-profit corporation based in Texas dedicated to research and development, as well as, education and scholarship of technologies and resources related to the broad field of virtual worlds research. The primary objective of the VWRC is to provoke innovation. In addition to internal research and development, the VWRC is actively constructing and mobilizing resources to allow for the research community-at-large to more effectively engage in cutting-edge research.
